“You should therefore not worry about the next day, tomorrow will worry about itself; every day’s trouble is enough for itself.” Thus spoke a preacher of old who caused a great stir – as one can read in Matthew 6,24 ff. At the birth of the child, who as an adult gave out the spirit “one day, one care”, as we know, the wise kings from the Orient, who are still popular today, travelled to bring him gifts – regardless of the fact that newborns initially have little use for gold, myrrh and frankincense. Times have changed, and with them the distribution of cares over the days. Those who are born today do well to think about tomorrow and the days after as soon as possible. If you are lucky, you will even meet some wise men from the land beyond tomorrow, bringing gifts that will prove to be the most precious some distant day.”
