Ticket sales for the 12th International FILM ONE GRENZEN Festival have started. More than 20 selected feature and documentary films reflect different perspectives on this year’s festival theme NOW. Filmmakers, scientists and experts have been invited to take part in the panel discussions.
The Grand Dame of European Cinema, Hanna Schygulla, will kick off the program on the Thursday of the festival. Together with her colleagues, filmmaker Tilman König, designer Veronika Urban and author Ulrike Werner, she will present the touching documentary DENKSTE PUPPE (Sept. 12, 3:30 p.m.).
Professor Dr. Jörg Steinbach, Minister for Economic Affairs, Labour & Energy of the State of Brandenburg and Prof. Dr. Dr. Michel Friedman will speak at the official festival opening in the evening (12 Sept, 7.15 pm). Afterwards, director Andreas Dresen will present his new film IN LIEBE, EURE HILDE together with actresses Liv Lisa Fries and Sina Martens.
