Nature and environmental protection: NOW

In the wake of current political developments, nature conservation and environmental protection are increasingly falling out of focus. However, two films impressively demonstrated the importance of commitment to an intact environment: ALL THAT BREATHES, presented in cooperation with the Heinz Sielmann Foundation, and PETRA KELLY – ACT NOW. The Oscar-nominated first film addressed the ecological crisis and the relationship between humans and nature at the festival. The film about the life of environmental and peace activist Petra Kelly showed how important political commitment is.
The audience’s response was clear: nature and environmental protection must not be forgotten.
