Youth program and workshops

Over 400 students from the Oder-Spree district attended the FILM OHNE GRENZEN school cinema screenings this year. As in previous years, a youth jury helped select the films. The 30 jurors came from an 8th grade class at the Europaschule Storkow in 2025.

With FIT FÜRS SCHULKINO (Fit for School Cinema), the FILM OHNE GRENZEN association offered a new workshop format for the first time, which focused on strengthening the culture of discussion in the festival’s youth program.

Four additional workshops with young people from the Oder-Spree district resulted in various film projects, including the film SUMMENDE BILDER (Buzzing Images), which shows the social life of bees and the joy of moving images, and the short film KLEINE DENKMÄLER (Small Monuments) about stumbling blocks in Bad Saarow. The projects were led by filmmakers Anna Faroqhi and Haim Peretz. FILM OHNE GRENZEN would like to thank all sponsors and supporters who made these projects possible.
