‘I spy with my little eye…’ is an invitation to once more view the world through the eyes of a child. Four portraits from four different countries provide us with a look at the magic of everyday life. Eight-year-old Kurumi from Tokoyo is often alone because his parents work long hours. That’s why he’s left to explain the world for himself and find most unusual answers to the many questions he has. The same aged Jorgito, for all his brave explorations around Havanna, changes completely when he meets one particular girl. The six-year-old Sean lives in Berlin and in both, home and school, has to follow rules which he doesn’t understand or like. Rekha is also six-years-old. She lives in a small hut in the slums of Mumbai and is full with joy in life. She wants to be a teacher but isn’t allowed to go to school herself.
