This year, WITHOUT BORDERS Festival is delighted to curate a short film program for the first time with KUKI, the renowned international short film festival for children and young people in Berlin. Monikca Koshka-Stein, KUKI’s festival director, has put together an entertaining, inspiring and thought-provoking program of short animation, documentary and feature films for 6-12 year olds an all age groups beyond, which promotes empathy, community and creativity. Fun Facts: One oft he films, MINDENKI, received the Oscar for Best Short Film in 2017. Film talks will be conducted by KUKI prsenter Class Fritzsche, and original-language films will be recorded live in Berman by Juliane Hempel. Anyone who wants to see more afterwards is cordially invited to Berlin for the twelfth edition oft he KUKI Festival (www.kuki-berlin.com) on November 3 – 10, 2019.
