The films were created as part of \u201eThe Island\u201c format, a Filmuni Summer School project for study preparation for refugees and migrants. \u201eThe Island\u201c was conceived in 2016 by Barbara Albert and Jean Bou\u00e9, who has directed the workshop ever since. Participants from nine nations created three films on the theme of confidence that could not be more different.<\/p><p>In the documentary \u201eMrs. Schneider and Her Trees\u201c (by Nataliya Kulykova, Mykyta Pavlov &amp; Sheldon Ridley), an old woman talks about life and death, war and staying. The fictional short film \u201eTo Stay\u201c (by Tatiana Burgos, Gabriela Kliemann Dias &amp; Farid Wahid Nader) deals with post-traumatic stress disorders in refugees.
