Von ihrem eigenen Vater, der sie wiederholt vergewaltigt und geschlagen hat. Sie will das Kind nicht, doch abtreiben darf sie es in Afghanistan auch nicht. Der Dokumentarfilm folgt Katheras Kampf gegen das korrupte Rechtssystem Afghanistans, um ihren Vater anzuzeigen. Nachdem sie von ihren Onkeln Morddrohungen erhalten hat, wird sie gezwungen, sich mit ihrer Mutter und Tochter zu verstecken. Der Richter bezichtigt sie der L\u00fcge, ihre eigenen Br\u00fcder beschuldigen sie, Schande \u00fcber die Familie gebracht zu haben. Khatera kann selbst verhaftet werden, weil sie unehelich Kinder bekommen hat. Es scheint ein aussichtsloser Kampf. Und doch gibt das junge M\u00e4dchen nicht auf.<\/p><p>Die Filmemacherin Sahra Mani, selbst Afghanin, erz\u00e4hlt aus unglaublicher N\u00e4he von Katheras Schicksal in einem Land, in dem Frauen
