Der Film f\u00fchrt uns ins Jahr 2019 in ein Waisenhaus-\u00e4hnliches Heim in Lysychansk, einer Stadt in der \u00f6stlichen Oblast Luhansk in der Ukraine. Viele Familien sind in der Region auseinandergerissen worden aufgrund der russischen Invasion. Kinder aus diesen zerr\u00fctteten Familien werden in Heimen f\u00fcr soziale und psychologische Rehabilitation untergebracht, bis die Beh\u00f6rden \u00fcber ihr Schicksal entscheiden k\u00f6nnen. Der Dokumentarfilm zeigt in ber\u00fchrender Weise, wie die sozial engagierten Sozialarbeiter in den Heimen trotz aller Not versuchen, den Kindern ein Gef\u00fchl der Zuversicht zur\u00fcck zu geben
