K\u00f6nnen wir uns mit unserer Geschichte auseinandersetzen und uns gleichzeitig weigern, von ihr bestimmt zu werden? Ist es m\u00f6glich, die Vergangenheit zu \u00fcberwinden, ohne sie auszul\u00f6schen? Diese spannenden Fragen umkreisen einander in \u201eHoly Holocaust\u201c, einem wunderbar animierten Kurzfilm, der die enge Freundschaft darstellt zwischen Noa, einer wei\u00dfen J\u00fcdin aus Israel, und Jenny, einer schwarzen Deutschen, die sich in einem Kunstkurs in Paris kennenlernen und eine intensive Beziehung aufbauen, die durch ein Familiengeheimnis allerdings zu zerbrechen scheint. \u201eHoly Holocaust\u201c stellt die Frage, ob Blut wirklich mehr bedeutet als das Band einer auserw\u00e4hlten Schwesternschaft.<\/p>

Im Anschluss Filmvorf\u00fchrung IRMI<\/strong><\/p>

IRMI ist ein sehr ber\u00fchrender Dokumentarfilm \u00fcber die Chemnitzerin Irmi Selver, die bei dem Versuch, aus Hitlers Europa zu fliehen, ihren Mann und ihre Kinder verlor. Ihr Mut und ihr Lebenswille haben sie durch die Trag\u00f6dien und Verwerfungen getragen, die sie als deutsche J\u00fcdin im 20. Jahrhundert erleben musste. Filmemacherin Veronica Selver, die die Tochter von IRMI ist, hat gemeinsam mit ihrer Freundin und Filmemacherin Susan Fanshel dieses bewegende Zeitdokument anhand von alten Filmen und Fotos aus IRMIS Leben produziert.<\/p>

Ausz\u00fcge aus IRMIS Memoiren werden von der deutschen Schauspielerin Hanna Schygulla vorgelesen.\u00a0 Es ist das zutiefst beeindruckende Portr\u00e4t einer Frau, deren St\u00e4rke und Zuversicht\u00a0 und vielleicht am erstaunlichsten, deren Lebensfreude, selbst im Angesicht eines unvorstellbaren Verlustes nicht besiegt werden konnte. IRMI starb 2004 im Alter von 98 Jahren.<\/p>
