Sie f\u00fchlt sich von ihren Freunden und ihrer Tochter allein gelassen. Als ihre Putzfrau in den Urlaub f\u00e4hrt und den polnischen Arbeiter Ryszard als Vertretung schickt, \u00e4ndert sich alles. Obwohl sie nicht die gleiche Sprache sprechen, f\u00fchlt Helga sich verstanden und kann endlich loslassen. Als Helgas Familie und Freunde von ihrer ungew\u00f6hnlichen Beziehung erfahren, f\u00e4llt es Helga schwer, vor den anderen zu ihren Gef\u00fchlen f\u00fcr Ryszard zu stehen.
