Also verkauft sie fast all ihr Hab und Gut, erwirbt sich einen kleinen Van und baut ihn als Wohnwagen aus, der fortan ihr Zuhause wird. Ohne konkretes Ziel beginnt Fern also ein nomadisches Leben, au\u00dferhalb dessen, was viele in der restlichen Gesellschaft<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">als \u201enormal\u201c bezeichnen w\u00fcrden. Sie reist durch den westlichen Teil der USA und \u00fcbernimmt diverse Jobs, trifft auf andere Nomaden, die wie Zugv\u00f6gel den Gelegenheitsjobs und der Saisonarbeit hinterherziehen und ebenso aus Neugier, Verlust, Trauer oder Sehnsucht heraus ihr mobiles Leben begonnen haben.
