W\u00e4hrend sich Regisseur Joseph an einer neuen Filmidee und der Trennung von seinem Ex-Freund Marc abarbeitet, leidet Sonya unter einer Depression, die sie zusehends aus ihrem Leben herausrei\u00dft. Als sie in einer Klinik unterkommt, muss Joseph nicht nur mit seinem Familienalltag, sondern auch seinen k\u00fcnstlerischen Ambitionen jonglieren.<\/p><p>In seinem zweiten Spielfilm vermischt Autor und Regisseur Fabian Stumm (\u201eKnochen und Namen\u201c) unterschiedlichste Gef\u00fchlstonarten zu einer tragikomischen Reflexion der Wirklichkeit. \u201eSad Jokes\u201c ist absurd und banal, hoffnungsvoll und anr\u00fchrend oder \u2013 wie im wirklichen Leben \u2013 alles auf einmal.<\/p><p>Im Anschluss findet ein Filmgespr\u00e4ch mit Regisseur Fabian Stumm und Haley Louise Jones
