Stilles Zentrum des Langfilmdeb\u00fcts von Kateryna Gornostai ist die 16-j\u00e4hrige Masha \u2013 introvertiert, feinsinnig und verliebt in den unnahbaren Klassenkameraden Sasha, der sie mit seinem passiven Verhalten herausfordert. Groben Narrativen entzieht sich der Film genauso wie allzu einfacher Psychologie. Wenn Masha nachts allein in ihrem Zimmer tanzt, hoch \u00fcber der Stadt, irgendwo in der Ukraine, dann wirkt daran nichts inszeniert. Vielmehr ist es eine Einladung an den Moment, das wahre Gef\u00fchl.
