\u201eTHE GIG IS UP\u201c beleuchtet die zu gro\u00dfen Teilen bedr\u00fcckenden Geschichten von Menschen, die durch Versprechen flexibler Arbeitszeiten und Unabh\u00e4ngigkeit sowie Kontrolle \u00fcber Zeit und Geld angelockt werden, jedoch eine ganz andere Realit\u00e4t vorfinden. Die Arbeitsbedingungen erweisen sich oft als gef\u00e4hrlich, die Bezahlung \u00e4ndert sich ohne Vorank\u00fcndigung und sie k\u00f6nnen durch Deaktivierung oder eine schlechte Bewertung kurzfristig entlassen werden.<\/p>
