Using the small town of Prenzlau as an example, Simon Strauss explores whether community is still possible in times of media-fueled self-righteousness, how it can succeed, when it fails, and what political significance comes with being close to one another.\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"Text\">The author, born in 1988, studied classical studies and history in Basel, Poitiers, and Cambridge.
