In collaboration with Lichterkette e.V., FILM OHNE GRENZEN is using the trailer for the „MENSCH. DEUTSCHLAND“ campaign for more tolerance and against xenophobia. With this, we want to make a statement against exclusion and discrimination and encourage people to be empathetic and actively promote tolerance and diversity.

Together with the production company LUPA FILM GmbH, Lichterkette e.V. has realized a project with over 100 interviews. These include people of various age groups and backgrounds who are daily confronted with marginalization, discrimination, and violence. In the interviews, they share their personal coping strategies and their sometimes very distressing everyday experiences.

The campaign HUMAN.GERMANY. functions as a growing archive that continuously adds new perspectives. On the one hand, the personal stories serve to raise awareness of current racist and discriminatory tendencies in Germany. On the other hand, a digital chain of lights is emerging as a social media movement under the hashtag #menschdeutschland, uniting more and more people.
