The FILM OHNE GRENZEN Festival is very pleased to be able to offer you as a filmmaker a unique funding program in cooperation with the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, the Antonius Verein zur Jugend- und Kulturförderung and Lupa Film GmbH.
Feature and documentary film projects are dependent on financial and content-related support, especially in their initial phase. In addition to inspiration and energy, calmness and financial independence are required to be successful on the rocky road from idea to film. Since reunification, Berlin has become a magnet for international creatives.
The WOLFGANG KOHLHAASE SCHOLARSHIP builds on this international spirit and is aimed at international filmmakers who want to discover Berlin and Brandenburg, as well as filmmakers who live in Berlin or Brandenburg and want to develop international film projects.
The funding measure amounts to €12,000 and includes a three-month stay at the Eibenhof in Bad Saarow.
The WOLFGANG KOHLHAASE scholarship holder will have the unique opportunity to present their film project to visitors and invited representatives of the film industry during the FILM WITHOUT BORDERS festival as part of a moderated panel.
The submitted treatments will be judged and selected by a top-class jury.
