The WITHOUT BORDERS Festival 2024 will take place September 12th to September 15th.
You can submit long and short films (feature films, documentaries, animated films) until the end of May 2023. The content of the films must deal with the festival’s annually determined main theme.
The motto of this year’s FILM WITHOUT BORDERS festival brings together its stormy and contrasting attributes. “Now” is the absolute present, it is also a wake-up call, as well as the hour when time reveals its transience.
Generations and societies study this breath in strikingly different ways. “Formerly” and “now” always wrestle with the new in the world, which we have just recognised together as a phenomenon or which gradually emerges as an attitude to life and then wants to be named.
In today’s now, the mission of acute salvation resonates side by side with the spiritual value of the eternal moment and finally the warning not to put things off, to wake up and to push: “Arrive in the now!”
You can submit the films including a short synopsis, stating the date of completion (not older than one year) short explanation, reference to the festival theme as well as a staff list as follows:
