A documentary by the French director Claire Lajeunie about homeless women sparked director Louis-Julien Petit's interest in these women who live right among us, yet make themselves as invisible as possible day after day out of shame and fear of violence. He spent a year doing research and decided to make a feature film to give visibility and dignity to the women, as well as to the social workers—who are also mostly women.

Surprisingly, at first glance, Petit decided to turn his research into a comedy. He cast only the roles of the social workers with actresses and had the affected women play themselves. Plot: A support facility for homeless women is to be closed, and their shelter is being cleared out. Four social workers have three months to find alternative housing for the women. And by any means necessary.

However, their greatest success is their joint struggle.
