Concert in the Eibenhof Culture Barn

Amanda Becker is a soprano and jazz singer and has been living in Berlin since 2019. She studied voice in Frankfurt, Freiburg, and Berlin, completing her studies at the UdK Berlin in 2021.

Throughout her training and career as a soprano, Amanda Becker has always been active as a jazz singer as well. Currently, she is a regular presence on the Berlin jazz scene, singing with various bands and performing in a fixed duo with guitarist Gur Liraz. With her project „let me LIED you,“ she explores how classical music and jazz can be blended and how political statements and stances can be integrated into an artistic performance.

Amanda Becker invites you to a jazz concert in the Kulturscheune. Alongside the live concert, the recording “Nina Simone: The Musical Legacy in the Paris Panthéon“ will be shown in the multimedia box on the festival grounds. It is a vibrant tribute to the legendary singer and civil rights activist Nina Simone, produced by ARTE Concert, Fip, and the Centre des monuments nationaux.
