Inclusion instead of exclusion! The school project Mix it brings together young people with and without refugee backgrounds. This initiative by the Deutsche Filmakademie and the association bilderbewegen was created in Brandenburg in cooperation with FILM OHNE GRENZEN. Around 30 young people from the Fürstenwalde upper secondary school center produced short films on the theme of „Elections“ in May, which will be celebrated and presented in the presence of the young filmmakers. Over 700 young people have participated in the short film workshops of the Deutsche Filmakademie and the bilderbewegen association since the project began in 2016.
