Leonie Benesch delivers a compelling performance as Floria, a dedicated nurse who works with great passion and professionalism in the surgical department of a Swiss hospital. Every movement of hers is precise, she has a sympathetic ear for her patients even in stressful situations, and she is immediately on hand in an emergency—ideally. But in the harsh reality of her often unpredictable daily routine, things usually look quite different. When Floria starts her late shift on this particular day, a colleague on the fully occupied, understaffed ward calls in sick. Despite all the hectic rush, she cares for a severely ill mother, an old man waiting for his diagnosis, and a demanding private patient. But then she makes a fatal mistake—and a nerve-wracking race against time begins.
