Film festival with youth projects in Brandenburg,
Focus on funding applications

The non-profit association FILM WITHOUT BORDERS is looking for an employee (m/f/d) for the project management/controlling department starting August 1, 2026 (with prior onboarding by individual arrangement).

 

Your tasks:

  • Preparation and submission of grant applications to public and private funding bodies
  • Preparation of financial and cost plans
  • Ongoing budget monitoring and responsibility
  • Preliminary bookkeeping in cooperation with external accounting/tax consultancy
  • Creation of proofs of use and financial reporting
  • Close collaboration with the club board and festival management

 

Your Profile:

  • Experience in controlling, finance, and project management, ideally in the cultural or events sector

  • Structured, independent, and reliable way of working
  • Proficiency in Excel and common accounting and financial tools
  • High affinity for working with numbers
  • Interest in film, culture, and festival work

Internship – Working in the Festival Team (m/f/d)

We are looking for interns to support our festival team in preparing for and organizing the 2026 FILM OHNE GRENZEN Film Festival in Brandenburg.

Time period: June through September 2026

Location: Berlin and Bad Saarow

 

Tasks:

  • Support in daily office routines and administrative tasks
  • Assisting with the organization and execution of film screenings and events
  • Support with communication and guest relations (filmmakers, partners), Sponsors)
  • Insights into the fields of event management, festival organization, and communication

 

Profile:

  • Interest in film, culture, and socially relevant topics
  • A structured and reliable approach to work
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Initial experience in the cultural or event sector is an advantage
