Love Sara

In the British feature film debut by director Eliza Schroeder, you get a craving for tarts – and for life.

Nineteen-year-old Clarissa is trying to fulfill her dead mother's dream: she wants to open a bakery in London. In the upscale neighborhood of Notting Hill, of all places. Clarissa is supported by her mother's best friend as well as her eccentric grandmother Mimi. Together, the trio of women takes the big step and courageously faces their grief and the new challenge.

A feel-good film that follows three generations of women into the world of confectionery and is more than just a feast for the eyes. Amidst cream tarts and chocolate cupcakes created specially for the film by top chef Yotam Ottolenghi, new love and hope grow piece by piece.

We welcome the producer Tonio Kellner to the post-screening discussion.
