Over 20 films will be presented at the 9th festival edition. Among them are STOP-ZEMLIA, the feature film debut of Ukrainian director Kateryna Gornostai (winning film Berlinale 2021 / Generation 14plus) as well as ACASĂ – MY HOME by Radu Ciorniciuc (Cinematography Award, Sundance 2020). Pre-screenings will include NICO by Eline Gehring, for which Sara Fazilat received the „Best Young Actor 2021“ award at the Max Ophüls Film Festival, and WANDA, MY WONDER by Bettina Oberli.
The following prominent guests are expected: Margarethe von Trotta, Tom Schilling, Ronald Zehrfeld, Alexander Schubert, Jan Schomburg, Christian Schwochow, Joséphine Demerliac, Cecil von Renner, Frauke Sandig, Sarah Blaßkiewietz, Haley Louise Jones, Lorna Ishema, and Jacob Matschentz.
