The motto of this year's FILM OHNE GRENZEN festival brings together its stormy and contrasting attributes. „Now“ is the absolute present, it is also a wake-up call, and likewise the hour when time reveals its transience.

Generations and societies study this breath in strikingly different ways. „Formerly“ and „Now“ are constantly vying for the new in the world, which together we are just now observing as a phenomenon, or which gradually sets in as a philosophy of life and then wants to be named.

Today's present moment resonates with the mandate for urgent rescue, side by side with the spiritual value of the eternal moment, and finally the warning not to postpone things, to wake up and push forward: „Arrival in the now!“
