In the traditional Sonntagstalk, Gero von Boehm talks to the actor and author Christian Berkel, who has a special view of the human condition, not least because of his extraordinary family history. His autofictional books testify to a great empathy and a deep humanistic world view. In his latest novel „Sputnik“, Christian Berkel tells of his childhood and youth in a captivating and touching way: a story about being torn apart, setting out and breaking away, which shows that without the past we will never understand who we are.

Against the backdrop of this year's festival motto, von Boehm and Berkel will discuss „The art of being human“.
