The short documentary tells the touching story of two young brothers from Massachusetts – 9 and 11 years old – who embark on an unusual journey with their Shetland pony named King. It's the summer of 1967, and Tony and Jeff Whittemore are eager to visit Expo ’67 in Montreal – the greatest World's Fair of all time. But unfortunately, their parents can't take them. Then their mother has the solution: they hitch their beloved pony King to a pony cart and travel 325 miles to Expo ’67 – all by themselves – at 3 miles per hour! For the brothers, it becomes the adventure of a lifetime, making them famous throughout the country.

The film raises questions that are just as relevant and important today as they were 55 years ago: What constitutes good and confident parenting? How can we teach children resilience, perseverance, and trust in the world?
