FILM OHNE GRENZEN is once again organizing expert panels on socially relevant topics this year together with its partners.

Against the backdrop of rapid species extinction, is a hopeful look into the future still possible? This and other questions are discussed by the Heinz Sielmann Foundation invited guests:

Dr. agr. Karin Stein-Bachinger from the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF), Dr. Nike Sommerwerk from the Museum für Naturkunde, Leibniz Institute for Research on Evolution and Biodiversity, and Helmut Querhammer, farmer.

Ahead of the discussion, in cooperation with the France-based scholarship program * Sustainability Animation Residency (SAR) award-winning short films shown by filmmakers and directors who want to raise awareness for the topic of biodiversity with their touching animated films:

The short film, celebrated at the Cannes Film Festival and very moving, WILD SUMMON (Director: Karnie Arieli) as well as the film, which has now been shown at over 80 festivals FLOREANA, (Director: Louis Morton) and Pink noise (Directors: Lysse Lefort, Martin Wiklund, Arthur Lemaître).

The films will be presented by SAR co-founder Joana Schliemann, French filmmaker and SAR fellow Gabrielle Lissot, and producer and SAR advisory board member Eleanor Coleman.

The panel is moderated by Dr. Hannes Petrischak, Heinz Sielmann Foundation.
