IGOR LEVIT – NO FEAR

Screening at Cinema Bad Saarow (now “Cinema by Velotel”)

You would like to visit a film at the Cinema Bad Saarow? Then you can also use the DALLI service from Bad Saarow station to the Eibenhof. The stop is within easy walking distance of the cinema on the station forecourt.

At 34, Igor Levit is an exceptional artist in the world of classical music. A young rebel who – at the piano – transforms into a mature musician, an old soul. He came to Germany at the age of nine, a Jewish immigrant of Russian descent. The film “Igor Levit – No Fear” follows the artist over two years as he explores his “life after Beethoven.” We observe Levit recording new pieces, his intense immersion in music, his collaborations with conductors, orchestras and artists. Covid-related, more than 100 concerts around the world then had to be canceled. It is exciting to see how Levit faces this situation as an artist and builds a whole new musical lifeline between him and his community on Instagram and Twitter.

Igor Levit – No Fear accompanies the artist on his course between a traditional career in classical music, his need for activism and an uncertain path as a musician that connects and inspires.
