House by the lake –

The House by the Lake grant 2017

During the course of this year’s festival we will get a new glimpse into the ‘HAUS AM SEE’ (‘House by the Lake’) grant subsidised film projects. In a workshop discussion on Saturday morning (16.09.17), the grant holder for the year 2016, Karim Ainouz , will tell us about his Tempelhof Documentary ‘TEMPELHOF – FIELD OF HOPE’, which is currently being completed with RBB/Arte in co-production with LUPA FILM GmbH.

Applications for the THE HOUSE BY THE LAKE GRANT 2017/2018 can be handed in after the festival.

Conditions are, as before, that the planned project is a fiction or documentary film by international film makers in Berlin-Brandenburg or a Berlin filmmaker living abroad. At this moment in time an application must define the planned project over at least 12 pages. The project grant will be made by a panel from the Antonius foundation. The grant will be made as a subsidy of  €12,000.
