The result is a series of unique short films in which the participants have found their own way of expression and dealt with very different experiences and themes: from longings and fears, sexuality and diversity to globalisation and uprooting. “LIED ME!” is a project of the Heidelberg International Song Centre, founded by the Heidelberger Frühling music festival, in cooperation with Boomtown Media. The digital short film project was funded by the Klaus Tschira Foundation and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts. Three of these young musicians from the “LIED ME!” project will present their skills live at the film festival in Bad Saarow: Theresa Pilsl (soprano), Ema Nikolovska (mezzo-soprano) and Daniel Gerzenberg (piano).
The following short films will be shown (German and English with subtitles): “ABSCHIED VON DER ERDE” (Ema Nikolovska), “2 POLES” (Jeeyoung Lim/Justine Eckhaut) and “EXPERIMENT” (Fanny Soyer).
