Systemsprenger – German Oscar Candidate

Great honour „Systemsprenger”, the oppressively touching feature film by director Nora Fingscheidt about nine-year-old Benni, who cannot be integrated into any system because of her eruptive tantrums: The jury of the German Oscar Committee nominated Fingscheidt’s feature film debut as the German candidate for the race for the best foreign film at the Oscar Awards 2020.

A great honour for the WITHOUT BORDERS Festival, which will show the film in its programme on Saturday, 31 August: „A moving film that urgently poses the question of a place in our society also for non-compliant and fragile personalities”, says festival director Susanne Suermondt. „We are happy for Nora Fingscheidt and her team and are happy to be able to show ,Systemsprenger’; before its release at WIHTOUT BORDERS.
